As you’ve wandered around the country, you may have noticed a big-leaved tree standing alone next to an old textile mill, at a venerable schoolyard, or along a railroad that saw its last boxcar decades ago. Chances are it was a Catalpa, a native tree that seems to delight in appearing in diverse environments, conferring the same grace on country estates and abandoned industrial sites alike.
We have a similar approach to landscape architecture. We believe that every site is worthy of attention and capable of transformation when approached with care and forethought. We think everyone should have access to restorative and beautiful places.
